About Local 917

Teamsters Local 917 is an affiliate of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and is chartered by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters to cover:  Automobile Mechanics & Helpers, Gasoline Station & Parking Attendants & Cashiers, Automotive Transporters & Inland Warehouse, Automobile & Truck Sales Persons, and Clerical Sales Employees, All Employees, drivers and helpers, in Express Trucking, Meats, Fats, Oil, Liquor and Commissary. Teamsters Local Union 917 represents approximately 2500 men and women employed with many different employers throughout the Greater Metropolitan New York area & Vicinity. 

The strength of our union has always been and will always be our growing membership. The active participation of the men and women of our union provide the strength necessary to achieve contracts that insure the protection of  our members wages, hours, and working conditions.
